I shoot here regularly, and I find the staff friendly and helpful. I have bought a gun and a couple of holsters here, and they went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I have no complaints at all.

I walk In the door and he announced it must be Chicano day. And when the other customer got refused a gun, he said she was definitely a pill head. When I told him I was interested in ar15 he changed his attitude. All positive and smiles. And took some time and explained all about them.

Nice recovery. But no thanks! If there is ever shtf scenario i'm not so sure on your side.

By far, the worst prices in the tri-state. Area retailers have the same items, oftentimes a few hundred dollars cheaper. The owner is rude and arrogant. His range is one step above a gas chamber (the open door and a breeze is about the best pollution control you could hope for). I'm surprised neither OSHA nor the EPA has showed up...unless they actually did, and got distracted by a sudden onset of acute lead poisoning.



Mark's propensity to take the "opportunistic bottom feeder" approach with his pricing when a high profile tragedy occurs makes me sick.



His attitude and demeanor are often displayed with a loud voice, short responses to questions, and attempts at being condescending.



In summary, if you wish to pay far too much then go to Mark's. If you wish to be treated poorly, go to Mark's. If you wish to see a hair style and mustache that looks like it belongs in a bad early 1980's show, then DEFINITELY go to Mark's.

Not sure how they stay in business, they treat customers with disrespect and I don't believe they owner would give his mother a discount.. I will never go here once was WAY too much.

Much better places elsewhere! Paying $9 for 30 minutes of range use without HVAC is no bargain; I'd pay $15 for 30 min. for the ventilation alone. There are much better gun stores in Florence (off Turfway) with better selections and lower prices. And I agree this place has an institutional attitude problem. Why go somewhere where the employees treat customers with open disrespect and disdain? Is it worth $6 to you to go to a substandard range?



I recommend you search for a conceal carry permit instructor in Sparta, 25 minutes south of Florence. He has a great attitude and range.



Bottom line: Marks Guns may have been in business for over 30 years, but today they should be avoided if only for their misrepresentations and lousy atmosphere.

I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!The staff acts like they know everything and if you ask a question they talk down to you.There prices are way higher then other gun stores in the area.Just walking into this store and asking a few questions I ended up walking out feeling like a piece of sh**.These guys need to learn some good old manners and people skills...

Owner's a JERK, so-called employees couldn't care less if you spend money there or not.. they're too busy talkin to their buddies... GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

Have stopped there about 3 times, my own fault, each time I tell myself maybe it will be different this time. Salesman is almost surly, gives impression that he could care less about your business. I'm sure he loses alot of business because of this. Have actually talked to other people leaving same time as me, same impression as me..Prices are way too high also.

Amazing that I see Mark's Gun Shop through a completely different lens. I bought several guns there and had nothing but excellent service. That service included sending two of the new handguns I purchased back to the manufacturer. When one of them wasn't returned in a reasonable time, Mark's replaced it out of their showcase.

Not too friendly. Price on products is outragously too high. Range is ok, but too pricy.
