We have taken our dogs to College View and Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital for over a dozen years. The staff have always been helpful, attentive and compassionate.

I called Monday morning to get a late appointment, thinking it wouldn't be for several days, they could fit me in that evening. The woman on the phone was very nice. +



I checked in for my appointment, the receptionist (Yvette) was friendly, kind and patient with me as I filled out the paperwork. +



I was seen promptly for my appointment. +



The assistant, Ciera, was wonderful! She explained everything, asked if I had questions, answered my questions, she was great with my dog and didn't even seem phased when he peed in the room, she cleaned it up right away without batting an eye. Really great disposition. +



The vet, Dr. D. Martin was also kind, answered my questions, explained the treatment. +



I asked Ciera if they price matched Drs Foster and Smith, she said she knew they matched http://PetMeds.com but would check for me. She asked if I knew the prices of what I wanted, and they couldn't match it but they did take the order form I had to be faxed to Drs Foster and Smith to get the medication I needed and Ciera let me know when it had in fact been faxed over (it was quick!) +



During checkout the Yvette was friendly and warned me to be careful as it had gotten dark out. +

I loved the service here the wait was a little long but I completely understand there was 3 or 4 patients there and only 3 people working they were doing an amazing job of balancing the employees to the patients very well. The employees I interacted with were very helpful and answered all my questions. Whenever I have an emergency with my pets they will be the first place I will call.

My dad's dog was in distress. It was his first visit. A lady came in after him . Her first visit also. They brought her back first. My dad's dog died in his arms in the waiting room. They are insensitive and rude!! I WOULD NOT recommend this vet to anyone!!!

They scheduled our two dogs for an appointment at 4:45pm and asked that we arrive about 4:30pm to fill out paperwork since this was the first visit to this vet. We were in for a regular check-up. We waited in the lobby until 6:20pm when we were finally taken to the back room by a vet tech. We waited in that room another 20-30 minutes before anyone looked at our dogs. There were vets and vet technicians walking in and out of the room, yet no one said anything to us. Finally a vet tech came in and took the dogs, one-at-a-time into another room. She never told us what they were doing with the dogs. After bringing them back, we waited another 10 minutes before the actual vet came in. She gave each dog 3 shots, never explained what the shots were for. I waited in the lobby AGAIN for another 30 minutes before the receptionist would speak with me. When she handed me the bill, there were all these charges I wasn't aware of. When I asked for them to be explained, the receptionist gave me attitude and was extremely rude. I ended up spending over 2 hours at this vet for an appointment that shouldn't have been more than 20 minutes. I would NEVER recommend this vet to ANYONE.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH OUR VISITS TO THE VET. WE USUALLY SEE DR. MARTIN OR DR. PADGETT, BOTH HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KIND AND CARING. I ALWAYS LEAVE WITH A SMILE. THANKS!
