      Founded in 2002, Nevada Cancer Institute is a nonprofit organization that offers cancer services. The institute provides oncology nursing, modulated radiation therapy and 24-hour emergency treatment services. It specializes in providing radiotherapies for prostate, head and neck cancer patients. Nevada Cancer Institute s radiation oncology department is accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology and is a member of Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. The institute assists with the preparation of protocols, screening and monitoring of patients and management of data collected on clinical trial participants. It specializes in clinical, hematological, surgical and urological oncology and pathology and transplantation capabilities. Nevada Cancer Institute organizes various community events, seminars and programs. The institute is affiliated with the American Association for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, Prostate Cancer Foundation and American Urological Association. It maintains a presence in Las Vegas.
