General Info
Inspired by our love for the diverse and creative beers from all across California, Mohawk Bend has since 2011 brought fresh, locally-sourced fare and drink to Echo Park. Located in a painstakingly retrofitted 100-year-old silent movie theater, we use California ingredients to craft pizzas, seasonal salads, elevated pub food, and delicious desserts for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-lovers alike. Our bar program--featuring 76 taps of California craft beer, wine, and artisanal spirits--is a tribute to local small-scale breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Whatever's on your plate or in your glass didn't travel far to get here. Through our philanthropic efforts over the past nine years, we've helped to plant over 20,000 trees through our collaborations with Greenbar Distillery and donated over $65,000 to local non-profits through our Piece of the Pie program. We're here to make your day taste better. Provided by YP.comBar meets better-than-average bar food. I like their breakfasts, too. It's a pretty big space, but my favorite place to sit is the very back, with its high ceilings and concrete walls. Sometimes they have live musicians who play in that area. Family-friendly.

Provided by YPmobileMohawk Bend is a great place to dine. So many Vegan options to choose from, but also many options to choose from for the not so Vegans.
The Buffalo Cauliflower is amazing and totally Vegan! You just have to try it!
A great place to have a fun dinner with friends and family or have a happy hour! Or an intimate dinner date for two. Well behaved kid friendly too.
Also is a great place to run into celebrities!
Check it out!

Provided by YP.comMohawk Bend is a West End bar in the East End. What do I mean by that? Well, one of my East End die-hard friends says it's "too clean" so he won't go there. But if you shower, it's kind of a nice change from the sticky-floored hipster bars that litter the area. They have one of the best beer and wine lists I've seen in LA, with rotating keg specials in case you get tired of their dozens of other beers.
Plus, they get at least two stars for having an all-vegan kitchen serving a pretty yummy selection of vegan eats. Don't worry, they also have a meaty kitchen for those of you who like eating animals.
Doesn't earn five stars because it's a little on the pricey side, with dinner for two easily running $100.
