I thought I had a transmission problem, but the mechanic showed me it was the engine mounts that were the problem. He also informed me about codes that showed up in the scan. No charge for checking and test driving the vehicle. I didn't get my vehicle serviced with them because the estimate was a above my budget, but the mechanic was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and as mentioned before, gave me free diagnostic information.
On a recent trip to McAllen, I had transmission problems and took my car to Aamco. I could not be happier with the service I received. The entire staff was professional and knowledgeable. Hector was especially accomodating and helpful. He was able to repair my vehicle quickly, for a reasonable price. A month later I had an oil leak in my car. I called Hector to see if he could recommend a place in our area to take my car. Again, he made sure we were taken care of and went out of his way to assist us, although there was no financial benefit to do so. I highly recommend using Aamco for your car repair needs.
Their service is superb and at a fair price. I have been so well pleased from the beginning that I bought their lifetime warranty for my vehicle nine years ago in 2005 and have had no problems with my transmission since. They even told me about other potentially dangerous problems I had with my truck at no extra charge. I plan to get lifetime warranties from them for my other vehicles in the near future.
I brought my 2004 Suburban to this Transmission shop which had a quite a few miles and was thinking it was going to be a problem sinse it had not been working properly. Well I was wright it needed to be overhauled.I was met buy a tall man cannot remember his name at this time but he was very nice to me and explained all the problems to me where I could understand and we agreed on a price that I thought was reasonable and had it repaired in the time he said it would take. I am from out of town and was a bit nervious about this deal but he put me at esae. Plus he gave me a nationwide guarantee on this job so that made me feel a lot better. That was 2 months ago as to see if all was going to be well and is is doing great. Thank you AAMCO.
