Lisa grew up in Redding, Ca. Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development in 2004 from the University of California, Davis. Lisa returned to Redding, Ca. and received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. Lisa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently works at her private practice and teaches in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology Program at Simpson University. Lisa has experience successfully treating anxiety, depression, trauma, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), children’s issues, teen issues, life changes/adjustments, grief and loss, life transitions, family issues, couples, parenting skills, and anger management. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Triple P. Lisa is also a Clinical Supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapy Interns so that they can count their hours towards their license. Lisa is a Clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, both state and local chapters and is actively involved in the local chapter. Lisa enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her friends, fiancé, and her cat.
