      General Info
      Dr. Adams grew up in the military, living across the United States and in Germany. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992 with a B.S., Cum Laude, in Biology. She earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 1996, and she continued her postgraduate training at U.T.M.B. as a Pediatric Resident in the Department of Pediatrics. After she completed her residency in 2000, she joined the 7th Medical Group at Dyess Air Force Base as a civilian pediatrician. In October 2004, Dr. Adams opened her solo practice in Abilene. Dr. Adams has been a member of the American Medical Association since 1994, and of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1996. She received her certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2003 and is currently a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to being licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Adams is also certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also a member of the Taylor-Jones-Haskell Medical Society. She is married and has one son. Her interests include rock climbing, cycling, hiking and backpacking. She is a member of Chorus Abilene, and she sings backup and plays bass in the praise band at Wylie Christian Church.
