After completing his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Carter earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then completed his internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at Texas A&M University - Scott & White Memorial Hospital. At the office of Troy L. Carter, M.D., patients enjoy the benefits of professional staff and advanced cataract technologies, all conveniently located at the Texas Midwest Eye Center. Patients can receive diagnoses and treatments for ocular issues, including dry eyes, styes, and macular degeneration. Dr. Carter also offers cataract surgery and diabetic eye care for those that require them.
