General Info

Founded in June of 2004, the Carolina Academy of Music has grown from three teachers and thirty students to fifteen teachers and over two hundred students. The Carolina Academy of Music offers lessons for all ages in a warm and inviting environment. Lessons are currently being offered for violin, fiddle, viola, cello, double bass, electric bass, guitar (acoustic, electric, and classical), piano, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, zither, flute, clarinet, and banjo. The Carolina Academy of Music also specializes in Kindermusik classes for the very young. Traditional old-time jam sessions are held bi-monthly.
