DETAILS
General Info
Dr. Charles Nichter is a pediatric neurologist whose clinical specialty encompasses a range of motor and movement disorders. He is primarily focused on treating children with neuromuscular diseases, such as muscular dystrophies like Becker, Duchenne, and limb girdle dystrophies. He also has a special interest in treating patients with tics, tremors, and Tourette syndrome. Dr. Nichter is passionate about utilizing a team approach to optimize patient outcomes: When treating patients, my goal is to develop a team of specialists that would include case managers, pediatric neurologists, and neuro-rehabilitative therapists and physicians, said Dr. Nichter. Case management is vitally important in the management of these special children, and we strive to make connections with other organizations to make the team possible.
