Albuquerque Economic Development ( AED ) is a private, non-profit membership organization whose mission is to recruit business and industry to generate quality job opportunities in the Albuquerque metro area. AED serves as an umbrella organization to promote investment in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties. With support from investors and allies in the public sector, AED actively recruits those companies that will export goods or services from New Mexico, thereby bringing new investment dollars to the state. These economic base jobs contribute to the area's economic growth, development and diversification, thereby improving the standard of living and opportunities within the Albuquerque area.ServicesAlbuquerque is a great place for business. A large part of AED's mission is to create awareness of the business opportunities and resources that are available to companies and business executives around the world. As a part of that mission, it is our commitment to see that interested companies and executives have a central location to gather pertinent, up-to-date information on the Albuquerque economy.Our team of economic development professionals is organized to help you obtain the facts you need to thoroughly evaluate the Albuquerque metro area.
