      Serving since 1972, Atlanta Oncology Associates specializes in the treatment of cancer with radiation and medical oncology facilities. It has a staff of more than 10 board-certified physicians that has expertise in radiation oncology, anesthesiology and pain management services. The facility offers treatment equipment and planning devices, such as linear accelerators, brachytherapy, prostate implants, superficial treatment for skin cancers, intensity modulated radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery. Atlanta Oncology Associates conducts several clinical researches. The facility, also known as AOA, is affiliated with the American College of Radiology, which is the supervisory body for radiation oncology. With one of its locations in Atlanta, Atlanta Oncology Associates also maintains other locations in Tucker and Alpharetta, Ga.
