I absolutely LOVE this place!! A bit pricey and usually rather crowded, but the food and service more than make up for it. The quality of the food rivals any Michelin Star restaurant. One of my favorite places!!!

Some friends who went to the University of Michigan recommended Zingermans to me. I''ve always had great service and a great selection of entrees for whatever your mood is. A true Ann Arbor establishment.

Way overpriced

We arrived at lunch time and only one table was occupied in the dining room. The seater wanted to put us at a table in the corner which I didn't like so I requested another table. He made us walk up to the front to ask someone else if we could have a different table - seems to me he should have been able to make that call himself. It wasn't like there was a line of customers waiting. When we saw the prices we bolted for the door. A slab of ribs for thirty dollars? We get ribs regularily for 15 - 20 dollars a slab - with sides. The little menu on the table for a slice of cheese - $2.50 to $12? yep - 12 dollars. What a rip. No thank you.

Can't get enough!

Hat's off to Chef Alex Young! I'm hooked on the wild mushroom soup, the fried cheese curds are mouthwatering. I don't remember any item that was less than delicious. The use of so many organic ingredients is very much appreciated. I try to time my errands in A2 so I can get some lunch at Zingerman's. Thanks for the wireless internet, too.
