Went in with an infected toe. I have diabetes and this is very dangerous. NP Y. Kim saw me and refused to even touch my toe. She just looked at it from a distance of about 3 ft. away and then asked if I wear nail polish on my toes and I told her yes. She said my problem was because I wear nail polish totally ignoring that I had told her my toe was smashed by a very heavy object. When I told her I have a Diabetic Foot Specialist and he said there is no problem with wearing nail polish she acted like I was lying to her. She did not do any treatment on my toe even though a clear liquid could be seen. She did give me 5 days of antibiotics. If you go there and they assign you to NP Y. Kim asked for someone else. Do not let her treat you. She clearly doesn't know what she is doing and thinks she knows more than the doctors.

Today I had a visit I did not don't feel well and I was seen by dr. Yeongbu kim and she was extremely rude seem very bothered to see me and asked questions with rude aggressive manner and when she gave me my result I asked her if she can explain to me what my results meant she proceeded to tell me to google it online on my phone ?? I Really I felt puzzled and sandden being a cash paying customer she went ahead and rudely made a bad remark and said really "how much did you really pay" when I went ahead and questioned if results in person were part of the visit .... she seemed very upset that I wanted her to take a moment for my results ...What kind of doctor want you to look up your results on line rather than taking a moment to inform you as a customer ... I am so surprised and disappointed.

Rude & negligent

I attempted to take my 7yo daughter to the Apple Valley Meridian Urgent Care Facility at 7:45 pm last night (09/09/14) and was ultimately shocked by the rudeness and negligence I encountered.

My 7yo daughter was having a severe allergic reaction to something she ate and her throat was closing up. Yes in after thought I should have went straight to the ER but as a concerned parent I was not thinking and went to the urgent care.

I arrived at 7:45 and the door clearly said they are open from 8:00-8:00. As I was briskly walking to the door I observed one of the office staff also hurrying to the door and then proceeding to lock it in my face and go back to the office. I proceed to knock on the door and the girl came back informing me they had seen their last patient. I pointed out that they did not close until 8:00 and she said they saw their last patient at 7:30, this being after I had explained to her my daughters condition. At no time during this interaction did this staff member even bother to make sure my daughter was ok, they did not offer to have the PA on scene even assess her or bother to even ask if I needed to at least have 911 called!! They left a 7yo little girl with trouble breathing standing in the parking lot and proceeded to once again lock up for the night!

This kind of ill regard for a patient is inconceivable to me! I have made numerous attempts to contact the office manager and have received no phone call back.

First time I came here, I was ...

First time I came here, I was told the wait would be about an hour. Not bad, considering it is an Urgent care and there were about 6 people ahead of me. They had me fill out forms and then wait.....and wait...... and wait. I should have gotten a clue when some of the people who had come in before me pulled out packed lunches to eat! After about 1hour and 45 minutes, I was called up and told that the doctor was going to LUNCH and did I want to wait until he got back? Hello, after waiting that long, yes I wanted to wait.

Finally saw a doctor, who was very pleasant and spent about half hour with me to determine I had bronchitis. Wrote 2 prescriptions and sent me on my way. The staff was pleasant to deal with as was the doctor. Unfortunately, I don't have insurance (lost my job a while back) and I refuse to use the emergency room for flu/bronchitis symptoms. But 3 HOURS wait after being told about 1?

Follow-up - after taking the full course of the antibiotics prescribed for my bronchitis, I got worse, a lot worse. Now while having the bronchitis, I also had pain on breathing and coughing. Since this is the only place close by and I needed to take my daughter in as well, we chanced it. Got there at 8 am - first to sign in! YAY. After roughly an hour + wait, we were called to the desk and told that the doctor scheduled for the day wasn't coming, but they had called the owner and he would be in approximately 45 minutes from when we spoke. She asked if we wanted to wait. I said can we go get something to eat since we didn't eat first in order to get there at 8. She said we would not lose our place in line, which we didn't. Finally, at 11 am we were seen by the doctor. 5 minutes, new prescriptions and we were out of there. After another 3 hour wait.

If you come here, bring plenty of snacks, lunch, drinks, etc for your wait.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY/CHILD ...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY/CHILD HERE TO SEE DR. JOSEPH TATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my 6 month old baby here due to cold like symptoms and earache. staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean. we wait back for the doctor and he comes in SMELLING LIKE STRAIGHT MARI JUANA! now i KNOW what mari juana smells like. DR. TATE was also VERY SLOW. he couldnt even speak clearly. he continued to look in my daughters ears and told me there was no infection. he then told me to give her Pedialyte, and tylenol. upon asking how much tylenol i give her, he says half the amountr, and then proceeded on trying to figure out half dosage for a year would be...i figured it out before he did. he was unfriendly and high on mari juana. upon leaving this place, i hear him walk out and say, "does anyone have a lighter?!" i was astonished that a doctor would act in such manner. i will never be seen by him again.

Don't go here! I had a horribl...

Don't go here! I had a horrible experience from the beginning. They couldn't verify my insurance. Charged me a co-pay (which I don't have). Applied my co-pay to someone elses account. The triage "nurse" didn't speak English, and I had to keep telling her the same thing over and over. She wrote something completely different in my chart. The PA was arrogant and rude. Tried to tell me I can't possibly know I'm having a migraine even though I was diagnosed 10 years ago. Also tried to tell me I'm allergic to meds I'm NOT allergic to. Wouldn't let me finish a sentence, kept interrupting. Then when he gives me a prescription he wrote on the prescription that I was allergic to the meds he gave me. Thank goodness I use CVS and they have a list of the meds I'm allergic to, and are smarter than the PA.
