      General Info
      Dr. Greg Ward specializes in microvascular reconstructive surgical procedures to restore form and function to areas affected by cancer. He treats cancers of the throat and oral cavity, salivary gland, and skin, and uses the latest surgical techniques, including laser and robotic approaches. His research interests include: improvements in diagnostic imaging techniques for head and neck infections; predicting morbidity/complications in patients treated with radiation therapy; and outcomes prediction and risk assessment of complex head and neck cancer patients. Dr. Ward is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Head and Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Head and Neck Society. Dr. Ward is a captain in the Army Reserve Medical Corps. He worked in public health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention prior to attending medical school.
