      Headley Funeral Chapel is a locally owned and operated Funeral Home. Clint is a licensed funeral director/licensed embalmer with a degree in funeral service. He received his funeral director and embalmer licenses in 1993. He is available 24 hours. Cherie became a licensed funeral director in July of 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. At Headley Funeral Chapel, we feel that the most important part of our service is making a difficult time easier for your family. We accomplish this by giving detailed, caring, personal service from the heart. We would be honored to help you celebrate your loved one's life.

      Business History
      Clint is a licensed funeral director and embalmer who graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1992 with a degree in Funeral Service. In 1995, Clint, Cherie, and their two children, moved to Augusta to work for local funeral homes. Our beautiful and historic facility was purchased from St. James Catholic Church in April 2003 and the business was officially opened June 9, 2003. While keeping the character of the buildings, we made the necessary changes to make the buildings handicapped accessible. Preparation facilities with embalming equipment were also included in the original renovation. Visitation rooms were added to the entrance to the chapel to accommodate for viewing your loved one or just greeting one another, and the chapel can seat approximately 200-250 family members and guests. Recently, a coffee bar was built to serve guests while attending a visitation.
