"Avoid this place." I sat in the lobby for an hour and a half after having suffered through the prep for a colonoscopy. I was week and so dehydrated my muscles were cramping, yet they did nothing for me. I arrived on time; THEY were 1 1/2 hours late. I asked if I could at least lay down somewhere. "Sorry, we're full." The receptionist did nothing to help me, and their anesthesiologist did nothing when I told her I could feel everything they were doing. You're not supposed to feel or remember anything, or so they say. I wasn't even offered anything to eat or drink during this and had to ask afterwards and was finally given a Coke and a pack of crackers. I am under the honest, frank, non-biased impression that no one at the North Austin Surgery Center truly cares about their clients. An hour and a half in a waiting room after fasting and prepping for a colonoscopy is ridiculous. Like I said, AVOID IT.
