      Avionics Instruments has a strong worldwide presence, supplying to aerospace companies that include Aerospatiale, British Aerospace, Dassault, Dornier, Embraer, Hindustan Aeronautics, Pilatus and the principal armed forces around the globe. In the early 1970s, Avionics Instruments provided standard off-the-shelf Federal Aviation Administration static inverters to the general aviation industry. Since that time, the company has expanded its product base, supplying major power conversion families with hundreds of products and configurations for commercial, military and space applications. The product families include static inverters, frequency converters, transformer rectifiers, light dimmers, power supplies and custom product design. Its other products include original equpment manufacturers equipment of choice for applications from commercial transport aircraft to army shelters, from corporate jets to forward area fighter aircraft, from private aircraft to emergency medical evacuation vehicles and from military frigates to the Spacestation.
