The staff are amazing! I tend to be very anxious with dental procedures. They were very patient and took the time to explain things so that I understood what to expect. I have been there several times now and highly recommend Dr. P and the Castle Dental team for all your family dental care needs!

I called this dental office and told them that I just wanted my tooth pulled because I couldn't afford anything else. The girl on the phone said that wouldn't be a problem and they take my dental insurance. When I got there, they insisted on taking xrays, then the dentist came in and said that he could save the tooth. He said I had two adjoining teeth that needed root canals and crowns. I asked him if he would be able to start the root canals that day so I wouldn't be in pain anymore. He said that he would. I asked how much that would be and he left. I waited about 45 minutes for some girl who came in and told me that it would be about $1800 to save both teeth but the dentist wanted tto do a bridge that would be about $5700. I immediately said that I just wanted the one tooth extracted and asked how much that would be. It was going to be $159. She left. I waited about another half hour and another girl came in and told me the doctor was too busy to do the extraction today. I told them that this is the reason that they get such bad reviews and walked out of the office. How could the dentist, Dr. Sudimake, have time to do a root canal but not an extraction. He chased me out into the parking lot and offered me pain killer and antibiotic. I said no. The next morning I called Chad Byler's office in Bastrop, Tx. It is behind Home Depot. The receptionist was wonderful. I explained what happened at Castle and they took a couple of xrays and pulled my tooth out for $109. All of the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. I am recommending Chad Byler to all my friends and family.

I went in with my child and we were both to get an initial exam for new pt. in prep for cleaning. Lifetime regular dental patients but new here. They came up with pretty major issues on both of us and even with double dental plan on both of us they detailed out hundreds of dollars in charges for child and thousands for me AFTER BOTH insurances. Offered financing; I passed. Said I been told by doctor all options, doctor had not even been in, only assistants!! Told me to sign off on forms with costs and it said I agree to all costs and treatment plans and I refused to sign as I did not agree! We will be getting second opinion to see if the issues they found are really even there and then have different doctor handle it. They are just like all the Austin locations!

Terrible! My husband went in for a deep cleaning and walked out with a bill for over $800! There are hidden charges that are NOT covered or disclosed before delivery of services. Be sure to ask for a "pre- authorization" from insurance before allowing any dental work. This is supposed to be standard procedure at dental offices, but at this location it is NOT. Be careful and be sure everything is explained to you before going in. And, don't be fooled into "financing" your uncovered portion.

This is a nice dental office, however they are unbundling all of their services and just about every service has an additional fee that should be included in the other services. I left feeling like I was ripped off and when checking with every other dental office in town, it was agreed that their billing was creative and was not the norm.
