My first experience with this vet is from when I brought in my cat Annie. She was very near death and honestly I was certain that day was going to end with me making the call. Doctor Scarpinatto diagnosed her with rather severe renal failure, told me not to give up, and did everything he could to help her. A year and a half later, Annie is going strong with no sign of decline, and I couldn't be happier about that. Best Care Animal Hospital is absolutely the best vet that I have ever taken my animals to: the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they stock all of the cat supplies and medication one could hope for (and are willing to work with you for larger orders), and the office cats are just the sweetest things. The people there know me by name and by cat, and are always a pleasure to interact with. I really cannot recommend Best Care Animal Hospital enough.

My regular vet referred me to Best Care because they didn't have an appointment available for the x-rays my dog needed right away. Best Care was very professional and accommodating even though they weren't and probably wouldn't be my regular vet going forward. Excellent service, and the staff obviously cared very much about animals. If they were closer to me I would absolutely go to them more often.

I forgot to mention in my review, and other reviews reminded me, that this doctor really pays attention to your budget. He gives you the best care for your cat and works that into your budget so that the animal still gets the care they need. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this office is with our cats and our budget. I have always owned cats and I have never found a vet that loves kitties so much and has so much compassion for them. You will love this doctor. It is as if he specializes in cats, although I know he sees other animals.

My husband and I have been taking both of our cats here for a few years now. We are both impressed by how much the doctor cares about his patients. It is quite refreshing and remarkable. When one of our cats got diabetes and we were overwhelmed, the doctor gave us a calm and simple approach to getting it under control. He gave us wonderful advice for grooming a cat that doesn't want to groom herself, and for a cat that likes electrical cords. LOVE THIS DOCTOR! He is a little quirky but he really cares about your animals and that comes across.

Dr. Don is a wonderful caring vet. Very concerned not only about the pet's health but also what your budget will allow. He is not going to perform ANY service unless he has discussed the fee with you. He is absolutely terrific!

I am a dialysis patient and my cat Lucky is more like my husband. I live alone and he's the only thing that keeps me going when things get hard. Last year he started getting very, very sick. He lost half his weight, couldn't walk, and was on deaths door. I was devastated and had very little money. I had recently moved and had no vet. The Humane Society gave me a list of "reasonably" priced Doctors to call. I called BEST CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL. They had the best prices and, I took my baby in. I was so impressed with how caring they were and, they had never even met us before. The doctor realized he had diabetes and needed insulin and a better diet. I didn't think I would be able to say this but a year latter here we both are. Needless to say, I am a steady "member of the family" there now. They even call to check up on Lucky. I would encourage everyone to go to Dr. Don's BEST CARE ANIMAL CLINIC. You won't find any Vet's out there that are so concerned, caring and kind.

Dr. Scarpinatto has been my vet since 2008. He was highly recommended by a friend. I consider him a highly qualified vet. He always takes as much time as he needs when examining my cats. We are never rushed and he takes all the time he needs to make a diagnosis. I have great trust in his knowledge. I have been taking my cats to Dr. Scarpinatto's Best Care Animal Hospital for "several years" now. I feel so blessed to know that I have someone like him to turn to ----ranging from a major crisis to just a simple pep talk regarding the care of my cat. He is plainly THERE for you. You will not find another vet like him..PERIOD! So if there are times when the vet wants to advise you on the care of your pets and how you can improve and ()we can all use help on this), whether is it a behavioral or physical issue.....it is absolutely in your best interest to listen to him with an open, accepting mind. This vet really knows his stuff!! Afterall, we are responsible for our pets, how they interact, and how they will give you signs to look for if somethings wrong....they depend on us for that...we need to be the one in charge and responsible. My dog needed a quick appointment and unfortunately my regular vet wasn't available for 4 days so they recommended this facility. The only thing they are efficient at is setting appointments because the schedule is wide open. The vet and staff were intimidated by my 140 lbs Great Dane, basically said they couldn't handle him to provide treatment. Maybe that is because the exam room is the size of a toilet stall...The vet then proceeded to lecture me on the Dog Whisperer and training my dog to be submissive in all situations. Maybe if he had been paying attention to Caesar he would realize that dogs can sense when you are nervous or anxious around them. PLEASE don't take your animals here at least not any over 20 lbs.

The care at Best Care animal hospital is 2nd to none. The way they treated my dog was incredible. I will always come back here with my pets, and reccomend them to all.

My experience at Best Care was fantastic! Since I had just moved to the area I was looking for a new vet and our neighbor recommended Dr. Scarpinatto. I was unsure, since we all know that trying to find a new vet that you connect with is extremely difficult at times. I was relieved to find that he was all my neighbor had said and more!
