Baumgartner Attorneys (formerly known as Baumgartner & Beitler) was founded when Howard E. Baumgartner opened an office in the First Bank of Berne building on Jefferson Street on December 1, 1950. James E. Beitler, Jr. joined the firm in 1974, and David N. Baumgartner did likewise in 1985. The office was moved to its present location on Main Street in November of 2013. Baumgartner Attorneys has earned a reputation as a firm that provides quality legal services at a reasonable cost to its clients. Baumgartner Attorneys has achieved the highest rating available by the Martindale-Hubbell national rating service, an honor which the firm is committed to keep.
