Pennsylvania Youth Theatre (PYT) is a performing arts school for kids and it also produces 3-4 MainStage children's plays annually.PYT's literature-based MainStage productions are professionally staged shows that educate, inspire, and entertain school and family audiences. All productions feature children in primary roles and are cast age appropriately, thus kids play kids and grownups play grownups. This enables PYT students to work alongside professional adult actors.PYT offers after-school classes and summer camps in the performing arts for children ages 3-18. Whether an aspiring actor or a shy child, PYT classes build teamwork and communication skills while they give children the confidence to use those skills.
