We are Biddeford's premiere Tattoo studio, specializing in custom tattooing. Unlike many other shops, we at Coopa Creations are strictly for the client. No egos, no attitude. We enjoy our work and enjoy helping people get the best tattoo and piercing experience possible. Many years in the business has taught us one thing, the client comes first. We also know that tattoos and piercings are expensive that is why we keep our prices fair and lower than most of our competitors. Quality doesn't always have to come at such a high price. 4 of my 5 tattoos are from coopa's. the artist that did it has done wonderful with all of them. I was skeptical when I got my first one from them due to my first tattoo ( from a place in nh) ended up having slight scaring on it, and the negative reviews. but I'm glad I went and got my other 4 there. I'm constantly getting compliments on how well they look and how well they were done.
Trina is amazing!! Her knowledge of piercings and body jewlery is unmatched. She is truly a professional! I always feel at ease with her.
I have been tattooed by every artist in the shop multiple times. I not only appreciate the art but the artists themselves. They keep the atmosphere just as good as the art. I have been tattooed in several shops but my loyalty lies here and I don't frequent any other places anymore.
I went to Coopacreations looking to get an original tattoo of a ghost ship on my shin. I gave Coopa the description on what I wanted and he said he'd DRAW it up for me so I paid my deposit and went home. The next day I got a call saying Coopa finished DRAWING my "custom" tattoo so I went in to approve it and went in later that week to get it done. I was happy with it at first, he did a fair job on it with no mistakes, minus part of the ship being sorta blurry and a couple birds flying in the background looking like a certain white microscopic organism that resides in part of the male anatomy but none of the mistakes were that noticeable. A couple months later while looking at pictures of tattoos online I found not only the stencil of my tattoo but numerous people with the same tattoo as me, most of these people got theirs done before July 15 2011 so I obviously wasn't the first to get this tattoo. I never knew "custom" and "original" meant "unoriginal" and "rip off"... if you want a tattoo of letters or a picture that can be found online or brought in then Coopa can provide you with a boarderline mediocre tattoo but if you want something original that no one has, go to a shop that has real tattoo artists and stay away from the "artists" at Coopacreations.
I recently went to Coopa Creations and had such a great experience. They treated me with such respect and professionalism. Their artwork is fabulous and they really worked with me to get exactly what i wanted. Ive
read some of the other reviews and i just cant agree with the negative ones. Ive had lots of friends and family go there and they are always pleased. Unfortunely not everyone can be pleased and tend to lash out and say
nasty things. Ive never heard of Coopa Creations ever with holding money frOm a
AWFUL!!!!! My husband and I both went in for tattoos. They screwed up my husband's tattoo and it took them forever to admit they made a mistake and they wouldn't refund all his money. I paid ahead of time before I got my tattoo and they wouldn't refund my money even though I didn't get a tattoo!!!! PLEASE do not go there. I know mistakes are probably rare but the way they handled it was terrible. They "artist" that made the mistake was new apparently but Coopa, the owner, was no help either. He apologized later but still no full refund. Not a very good business man.
I would like to respond by saying that is not at all what happened. Yes my artist did make a mistake on your husbands tattoo. I am very sorry that happened but unfortunately we are human and mistakes do happen, even in this business. The mistake was a minor one and it was fixed by me personally. Your husband liked the tattoo after it was fixed and also told us he understood and had no ill will toward us or the shop. Not only did we fixx the tattoo but I did give him his money back. You were also supposed to get tattooed that day and came in with a dollar saver coupon which you purchased from another website not ours. you demanded the money back from that coupon. However I tried to explain to you that we can't refund money to you from that because we don't receive any money from it. That money goes to the company that supplies the coupons. But you didn't want to hear nor try to understand what I was explaining to you. Your husband did, unfortunately you didn't want to hear it. So again I am sorry you were unhappy. You have a right to express yourself and have an opinion even if it is negative towards my business. However please get the facts strait before you do so, thank you.
THE WORST TATTOO EVER, I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND GET A TATTOO FROM COOPER!
I'm sorry you had a negative experience with us. As far as your tattoo not being custom, that is false. We do get reference material from time to time on tattoos. Weather by the customer who brings them in or by ourselves or online. As far as that ship, I do remember doing it. Telling you that I referenced the material and you were fine with it. I also changed the artwork so it was not just like the on that was found. As far as the birds in the distance that looked like anatomy that you so comically put. You liked the piece when I finished and tipped me as well. So if that is how you treat someone who gives you an negative experience? A positive one must be amazing. Again in all seriousness, I am sorry you had a negative experience at Coopa Creations. We never claim to be the best nor would we. However we do work hard at making our clients happy. Unfortunately we don't and can't always please everyone.
I have many tattoos and most of them was from Coopa Creations. I have no complaints what so ever. If you want something that is going to look great and have some one that is experenced, this is the place to go. I rate it 10 Plus.
