- Teeth CleaningBrewer Dental Center is proud to host an annual day of FREE dentistry! We partner with a national organization, Dentistry from the Heart, to bring complimentary smiles to our community. This annual event allows us to provide dental cleanings, extractions and fillings to those in need of services. In total, Brewer Dental Center has helped nearly 4,000 patients and donated over $1.4 million in FREE dental care. Thank you to our contributors and volunteers for making it possible.
- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride is a naturally-occurring mineral that strengthens teeth, protecting them from decay. The government adds fluoride to public drinking water to give the population a boost to their dental health, but the trace amounts of fluoride received through this method is not always enough to achieve the desired results. This is why the Brewer Dental Center team offers topical fluoride treatment. This is a more direct means of obtaining fluoride to build stronger teeth and gums.
- Dental SealantsIf you have sensitive teeth or are prone to cavities, you can also ask a Brewer Dental Center dentist about protective sealants that can prevent bacteria from wedging itself in hard-to-reach places in teeth. Talk to us today if you have more concerns about dental hygiene.
- Space MaintainersWhen these problems are caught early, we can start correcting the problem before it gets worse. This may involve teaching better oral health, installing temporary space maintainers, or providing them with removable, noninvasive dental appliances like Invisalign braces.
- FillingsGold fillings are made to order in a lab and are then cemented into place. They are well tolerated by gum tissues, and may last more than 20 years. For these reasons, many dentists consider gold the best filling material. However, it is often the most expensive choice and requires multiple visits.
- Resin CompositeMaterials used for fillings include porcelain, gold, a composite resin (tooth-colored fillings), and an amalgam resin (an alloy of mercury, silver, copper, tin and sometimes zinc).
- VeneersThe expert cosmetic dentists at Brewer Dental Center provide an array of services to help improve your smile. Two of our cosmetic options include Lumineers and veneers. Learn more about both of these options and see which one may be right for you. Feel free to contact our office and schedule a consultation too! Our team looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
- CrownsCracked, damaged, or missing teeth? A crown or bridge may offer the solution you need to restore your smile and dental health. As with most decisions that affect your overall health, you probably have questions!
- BridgesImplant supported fixed bridges allow patients who need to replace a couple teeth in the same section of their mouth. Using a fixed bridge the doctor can replace multiple teeth as one solid piece rather than multiple implants in a small area.
- Dental BondingAt Brewer Dental Center, we’ll help you determine whether or not composite bonding is the right choice for you. Give us a call and we’ll get you scheduled for your free consultation.
- Restorative DentistryRestorative dentistry is the process of treating tooth problems and getting them back in prime condition. If your visit to the dentist has ever included a filling, you’ve already had a restorative dental procedure. At Brewer Dental Center, we offer the following restorative dental procedures, in addition to fillings...
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canal treatment is necessary when the pulp – soft tissue inside your teeth containing blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue – becomes inflamed or diseased. A root canal is a relatively simple procedure that causes little to no discomfort and requires only one to three visits to the dentist’s office – depending on the severity. Brewer Dental Center uses the latest technology and techniques during root canal treatment to ensure that your experience is as painless and comfortable as possible. And we will provide you with all the information and care tips we can throughout the entire process.
- Deep CleaningGum disease is a serious condition, but one that develops slowly. In the early stages of gum disease, Brewer Dental Center can provide a non-surgical treatment known as scaling and root planning. In this treatment, we remove plaque and tartar that has built on teeth surfaces and developing gum pockets. Gum pockets are empty spaces next to teeth that were caused by receding gums. These pockets provide extra space for bacteria to hold up and wear away at teeth and gums. If left alone for too long, this tartar buildup can cause severe gum disease.
- DenturesThe most common question we get asked is, “How long does the dentures process take?†The entire process of getting dentures takes three to four weeks on average. After your consultation, molds will be taken of your mouth and your dentures will be created. If you still have teeth remaining that need to be removed, the dentures will be placed after the teeth have been extracted.
- Dental ImplantsBrewer Dental Center is seeking additional Associate Doctors, Hygienists, and Dental Assistants to join our rapidly growing practice. Our state-of-the-art practice is equipped to handle the leading edge of dentistry such as 3D imaging and guided implant technology. Brewer Dental Center is a multi-practice, dentist-led organization.
- Oral SurgeryIf you have severe tooth crowding, a dental infection, or a non-restorable tooth you may need a dental extraction. Luckily, extracting teeth is an oral surgery that is more comfortable than ever! With new technologies in dentistry, it can be a simple and virtually painless process.
- Tooth ExtractionsTooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the mouth and is usually a solution for teeth broken or damaged by decay. At BDC we always put saving your teeth as a priority and will use all available means to do so. However, if too much damage has been done or upon your election to do so, the tooth can be extracted for you here.
- OrthodonticsThe need for orthodontics doesn’t end at childhood. Both adults and seniors are often in need of orthodontic treatment to achieve a healthier smile. Jaw problems reach their peak seriousness in adulthood. Misaligned teeth can cause headaches, mouth disease, and serious oral health problems. Thankfully, there are many treatments available at Brewer Dental Center to correct these problems.
- Invisalign OrthodonticsWe all want straight teeth, but many people believe they simply don’t have the time for it. For years, the process involved several visits to the orthodontist and a series of metal brackets and wires, but no more. With advances in dentistry and Invisalign’s easy-to-use aligners, having straighter teeth is no longer an arduous or time-consuming process. Your first Invisalign trays are ready only a few weeks after an initial free consultation and exam, setting you on your way to a new, beautiful smile.
- BracesMouth guards are removable pieces of plastic that fit over your teeth to protect them from injury and wear-and-tear. They are most often recommended for patients who are avid sports players and patients that suffer from bruxism (teeth grinding). Sports players with braces are in particular need of mouth guards as a single injury could damage their braces and undo much of the work they have been doing to correct your smile.
