Insights Optical is a business rather than a health care provider, and its entire model is based on extracting the most money from the patient. Most places charge a new patient contact fitting fee; this place charges you each and every time you go in for a prescription renewal. Dr. Short also refused to listen to me when I responded to the eye exam to determine my prescription; as a result, my distance vision is fine, but things are blurry in one eye when I view things that are closer (which, because I work at a computer, is more important). I would recommend against ever going to Insights Optical unless you want a doctor who doesn't listen to you and an office focused on extracting as many extra fees from your wallet as possible.
