Dr. Paul Sommer graduated from St. Johns University College of Pharmacy with a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical sciences. He then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon receiving his doctorate, he completed an extensive residency training program specializing in foot and ankle surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Peninsula Hospital Center before entering private practice. Dr. Sommer went into private practice in New York before starting the Boca Podiatry Group in 1993. He practices in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery, performing in-office surgical procedures as well as hospital based surgeries. Dr. Sommer maintains active privileges to perform surgical procedures at the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center. He has also served as an Attending Physician at the Delray Medical Center - Post Trauma Wound Care Center.
