12/8/2016Recently went there for gel manicure and ped. for the first time. The manicurist was not interested in me or what she was doing and the experience and manicure, etc. was terrible I mentioned it to the front desk woman on my way out, but didn't list all the issues..I actually wrote it out and there were half a dozen things done wrong or inappropriately. This young girl was clearly not happy being there. She informed me that she doesn't "paint" toes with shoes on ( I had flip flops with toe dividers made for pedicures) Then seven days later when a nail chipped badly. I called and asked to speak to an owner or manger. I left several messages and no one called me back. I went in the following sunday and no one would fix it, and no one was in charge. I was told that they all had appts., Although several people were standing or sitting around.So then on Tuesday when she was back there , I called the front desk girl who told me that there was no money back or fixing a damaged nail without my paying for it, and it had to be by the same girl who did a shoddy job to begin with. She would not give me an owner contact. I looked them up in the BBB. An F rating. I should have looked first!! Also I am told the owners listed with the state of Florida have not been the owners for two years or so. I will pursue this. Are they legal?
The whole point of gel is that it is supposed to last longer than regular manicures.

These people have rotten business sense, and do not care what they do to people. It's only about the money!!!

Horrible business ethics, after having my nails done for the first time, after 1 week, 2 are broken and 3 are chipped, they wouldn't repair them or do a thing for me and could care less if they lost a customer or future referrals! Is this how anyone runs a business!

Love the service at Rio Nails! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Go to Michael for hair and Duke gives the best pedicures and Lisa for gel nails.

Horrible Experience! Was greeted told to pick out color, did so, asked for both mani/pedi. Sat at station w/Helen,,,,, she cut both my thumbs. Plus the file she was using had residue about 1" thick on it like it was never cleaned!!!!! At that point I walked up to front desk told them to forget the pedicure was afraid of bleeding again, all she said was oh, do you want someone else to to do them.... NO WAY My cuticles were always smooth and now each one is choppy!! Never got my any of my nails done, wasted time

Was told by the girl at the front desk that a gel manicure was $15. We go to pay and the gel manicure becomes $25. The front desk girl admitted this was her mistake but rather than honoring the price quote, still made us pay $25

Beautiful Salon...But the Wait was Long ..Wonderful Massage Chairs.
