Rainbow Of Love Pre-School is governed by Trinity Church of God. Rainbow is directed by a board of the church, with two Ex-Officio members: Pastor and Director. All operating funds come from fees, tuition and special gifts. Our curriculum identifies goals in all areas of development: - Social: to help children feel comfortable in school, trust their new environment, make friends, and feel they are part of the group. - Emotional: to help children experience pride and self-confidence, develop independence and self-control, and have a positive attitude towards life. - Cognitive: to help children become learners by letting them try out their own ideas and experience success, and by helping them acquire learning skills such as the ability to solve problems, ask questions, and use words to describe their ideas, observations, and feelings. - Physical: to help children increase their large and small muscle skills and feel confident about what their bodies can do. - Spiritual: to help the children know and understand God as revealed in the Old Testament and the New Testament by teaching God as Creator and Father, Jesus as Son of God and our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our helper and our conscience. These concepts will be taught based upon the age level and readiness of the student. Bible stories, audio-visual aids and Christian songs will be presented. The activities we plan for the children, the way we organize the environment, select toys and materials, plan the daily schedule, and talk with the children all are designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give your child a successful start in school. ADMISSIONS Children who are two (2) years of age by September 1 may apply. The admission policy is first registered, first admitted. Class space is limited due to low pupil/teacher ratio.
