MHC originally operated as Mountaineer Sheet Metal until 2009, when we changed our name to better identify with you, our customer. MHC primarily serves the counties of Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Watauga, and Wilkes in NC and Carter and Johnson Counties in TN, although it isnt unusual to see one of our trucks outside these areas. MHC offers heat pumps, air conditioning, furnaces, geothermal, ductless mini-splits and more for all types of projects including residential, commercial, new construction, replacement and remodeling. We also offer a full line of accessories including electronic air cleaners, whole home humidifiers, dehumidifiers, energy recovery ventilators, UV treatment, specialized thermostats and home automation. We are proud to partner with Trane, Water Furnace, Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, Nexia, Aprilaire, Honeywell, NEST (including concierge service) and also offer products from various other manufacturers. Our service department provides diagnostics and repairs to all brands of equipment regardless of who it was installed by and offers after hour, emergency on call assistance 7 day/week.
