      About Audiology Doctors of Florida, Corp. Steven Sederholm received his Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and has served as President of the Florida Academy of Audiology. Dr. Sederholm served on the American Board of Audiology and is a Board Certified Audiologist. Dr. Sederholm was born with a severe hearing loss in both ears. "It is comforting for a patient to walk into the office, explain their problem, and know that I understand exactly what they're talking about," Dr. Sederholm says. This fully digital hearing aid goes all the way into the ear canal, making it virtually unnoticeable. These are the same hearing aids Dr. Sederholm wears. Product 2: The new "open" Behind-the-Ear (BTE) instrument utilizes a very small, soft insert that fits comfortably in the ear canal. Developed only recently, this comfortable device has been very successful for those who previously could not use hearing aids, as patients are generally unaware they are wearing them. This model is categorized as an "instant" fit product, meaning you will enjoy better hearing in just one office visit! Product 3: Designed with comfort in mind, this hearing aid uses a tiny speaker that sits entirely in the ear canal, providing maximum speech understanding. The speaker is very tiny, close to the size of a pen tip. Since this advanced digital hearing instrument employs a speaker that sits very near the ear drum, it delivers much less distortion and acoustic feedback ("whistling"). Users of this device report a very natural sound quality.
