Stay away from ECM at all cost!!!
ECM installed a top of the line AC unit in my house that included 10 year warranty. 2 years later the thermostat goes dark. It's one of those sophisticated Lennox iTouch, so I called their service, I was told "parts are under warranty, but labor is not. A diagnostics by our technician is $45"
The guy shows up, within a minute determines is the thermostat is bad. Parts are free, but he wants $250 to replace it + the $45 diagnostics (mind you it's

ECM wanted $1000 to replace my hot water heater. Exorbitant amount of money. I called in a plumber of my own and had the job completed for less that $500. ECM would not compensate me in any way. First time I used the service in 2 years. Horrible company.

I purchased a Lennon Dual Stage AC system from East Coast Mechanical 11 months ago. It has failed three times. Each time it failed I notified East Coast Mechanical and was advised it would be an extensive wait to get someone to service the unit. I have called Service Experts, and they are out to service unit and repair it hours or days earlier that East Coast Mechanical. When east Coast Mechanical Technician arrives, they do not even look at it or inquire as to the failure. This morning it is 90 degrees and they again advised me they cannot be here until tomorrow night. They should discontinue advertising service after the sale if they cannot provide it. They offer, " A breakdown in the Florida heat can be devastating. Fortunately, you can turn to ECM as your expert air conditioning contractor. We respond immediately and will accommodate any time requested by you." Unfortunately, I did not look at the reviews before selecting a company to install a new unit.

1st--our A/C was blowing warm air----tech. came the next day----since the repairs would be over 300.00 and our A/C unit was over 30 yrs. old---he recommended to put the $$ to better use in a New A/C---we did. They came the next day, were extremely polite & professional. While I hated to pay for a New A/C----they made the situation easier to accept. Would highly recommend them.

ECM should probably stand for "We don't care". We have been having issues nonstop for years with our unit which was paid in full and installed by ECM 4 years ago. Their customer service is amongst the worst in the industry. They have yelled at me on the phone and called me a liar! The technician (one of many that have come) told us that he can't believe that ECM would even have installed the unit we have in the condition it is in since it cannot work correctly. But, why would they care about that when they're getting paid. That's all they care about! 0 customer satisfaction... I was forced to purchase a contract with them to come service our unit, which they have many times and is still in contract to do so. But, now they REFUSE to come out to do the quick fix (which I paid them to do and will fight to get my money back because they will not comply with their service agreement) and insult me saying they have told us about the problem (which they created in the first place)!!! This company is one of the worst and deserves to be put out of business immediately.

I had an ac unit installed by ECM this past summer. They came as promised and installed without a problem. They had to work along with my house sitter because I am not a permanent resident. He had nothing but praise for the people that came. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

ECM installed a new air conditioning system on October 28,2015. The installers were very respectful and knowledgeable . It was a pleasure having such lovely technicians working in our home. The unit was quickly and efficiently installed and we would not hesitate to contact ECM again .

I had ECM come out to do a a/c tuneup for me. After inspecting the system, I was informed that I needed to replace a worn out part, (my system is about 12 years old) which would have cost about $1200. Rather than do that, I opted to replace the entire unit. The technician who was at my home arranged the entire replacement, explained how and what would be done and within 2 days I had a new air conditioning system that I no longer had to worry about. Their installers were courteous, neat and professional. I would confindently reccomment this company to any of my friends.

Scheduled and appointment for a leaky toilet. ECM rep was there on time, fixed the problem in about 10 minutes and was out the door. Pleasant, courteous service. Very happy!

We have an appliance contract with ECM for our Florida condo. We just had our central A/C replaced when it started leaking and was not cooling properly. The first call to ECM resulted in a service call the next day. The technicians were very professional and were able to give us a "quick fix" to have A/C until the new unit arrived the next day. All went as promised, and we were extremely pleased with the installers as well. We have also needed their plumbing service, and those technicians were also professional and knowledgable. Overall, we have had only positive experiences with ECM.

I am new to Florida and therefore I am still looking for all things that will make my life here easier here. When I got in the mail the “Extended Service Warranties” offer from ECM, I wasn’t sure if this was something I could use, but due to the reasonable fee and the great services offered, I decided to join. One month later, the icemaker of my fridge stopped working, so I called them. Not only I got an immediate response, but very quickly the icemaker was replaced for a new one. I was very pleased with the service I got and I strongly recommend this great service.

From the Salesman Sam to the installers Lincoln and his assistant , they were professional and courteous. Left my home after installing the in and out unir including the thermostad, rebuilding the space for the heat pump and working for about 8 Hrs cleaned up every bit of debri. I also keep a anual contract on all my appliances with ECM . They have proven to be the best service company around, as I have had negative experiences with other companies in the past

I had system that was 12 years old and stopped working. The coil had frozen. This was the second time in the past year so I knew it had to be replaced. I have a contract with ECM. They explained what needed to be done and the total cost. It took less than 1 day to complete the job. They cleaned up afterwards. The AC works great.

We had a contract with ECM on a 15 yr old air conditioner that was in the condo we purchased. They came out several times to service it and kept it running for another year until our renovation work was complete. They also were very helpful discussing the type of unit that would work best in our condo. Everyone was very professional. They come when they say they will and we feel we got good value for our money.
