New customer. Took a pair of old, but favorite Cole Haan shoes for him to repair one where the insole was coming off. George proceeded to rip the insole further. I asked him why he wouldn't have told me he was ripping the insole further, he said he would have to do that to repair. He then told me to get rubber cement at Home Depot and fix myself. I came back later and told him it was unprofessional that he damaged my shoe more than what it came in with. He then proceeded to rip the bottom sole off same shoe and said this is what he would have to do. I was incredulous. He said, "I suppose your other shoe is fine," in a sarcastic tone. I showed him it was...no ripping of the insole or sole. He then said, "what do you want to do, call the police?" He then said I had mental problems after I said he ruined my shoes. Never have I encountered a business owner so unprofessional in all my life.
