They are the Rolls Royce of schools in Somerset County. Dont believe me. Go spend a day in one of the classroom. You will find dedicated and inspired teachers and kids engaged in using all their senses. Learning is important, but these teachers make learning fun. My kids will pick going to school over a Disney vacation. No jokes. They dont have the fancy fluff that you will find at other big name schools. But they have a teaching staff that is second to none. These teachers dont recycle often and stay a long time nurturing every child like its their own. The school is well funded and is never short of materials to make my kids experience fun and challenging. Kids are not held back and are challenged with higher grade material. Group activity, team building and leadership skills are taught and stressed by the teachers. Do I wish they had a gym, dedicated music class etc..? Sure. Do I want to pay a 1000 dollars more? No. Go pay them a visit. You will be impressed.

RVM offers much more than just academics. It provides a nurturing, safe, challenging and motivating environment to the children. I have two children in the school, one in grade 2 and the other in grade 4. The teachers are extremely committed and involved with each child. Being a smaller school it does not have the facilities that a public school may have like a gym, or a music room. But they have a music teacher and a gym teacher who are very dedicated. That said, the main factor that draws us and keeps us with RVM is their set of core values, their idea of each child being a global citizen and having a responsibility to their school, community, country and the world. I would highly recommend their primary and elementary programs.

I absolutely love Raritan Valley Montessori. Our two sons attend RVM, Kindergarten & 3rd grade. We are very happy with the program and teachers. The entire staff is very helpful and students learn in a highly nurturing environment. My children look forward to going to school every day. After finishing Kindergarten, our eldest son attended public school for 2 years. We then moved him back to RVMs elementary program as he was not motivated and often held back from learning advanced math and writing skills. This changed within weeks of rejoining RVM where teachers give special attention to every child and frequent feedback to the parents. We have experienced the difference RVM teachers make as each childs education is based upon their individual level and learning style. Sending our sons to a private school has been a pinch to the pocketbook, but a very worthwhile investment. Both of our sons will continue in the elementary program at RVM. I highly recommend Raritan Valley Montessori.

RVM provides an outstanding, quality education. Here, the children are given the opportunity to investigate and learn about subjects that interest them. It is truly amazing how much the children learn, especially at such an early age. The children are happy and enjoy being there. The teachers and staff are very dedicated. It is an excellent value for the education received!
