      When I first signed up with this gym the trainers and managers were so nice. The gym is big and has all updated equipment. I thought I found the perfect gym. So I signed up and paid first and last month membership plus an extra $200/mth for 6 mths for personal training. Then I lost my job and couldnt afford to pay the personal training( there is no contract for personal training) but we would continue to be members. That's when the managers and trainers stopped being so nice. I had a fever and tried to reschedule with my trainer and she said that she couldnt reschedule and I will be charged because I needed to give 24 hour notice. How can I give 24 hour notice when you wake up with a fever?? The trainer and the manager wouldnt work with me. It's funny how when I was paid for 6 mths of personal training they were willing to rebook when I had emergencies, and now that I dont have the money anymore they suddenly have no more time for me. TERRIBLE PLACE.. TERRIBLE PEOPLE!! I do not recomnd

      Genesis Health Club opened its doors in 1986, in a single location at 13th & West Street, on the west side of Wichita, Kansas. In 1994 Rodney Steven II, current President and Owner of Genesis Health Clubs, purchased the business. Rodney attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois on a tennis scholarship and upon graduation, he continued to follow his vision of pursuing a healthy lifestyle and helping others in his hometown do the same. He recognized the need for a fitness center that was focused on top-quality customer service and personal attention. It was from this early vision that the service-oriented, results-based training model was born, and Genesis Health Club anchored its rightful place in the fitness industry. Our goal from the beginning has always been to provide the best customer service possible and to help our members achieve their health and fitness goals with the best program and facilities available. We love what we do, as our passion for health and fitness is growing stronger than ever.
