Everyone in this great shop cares about our pets (and we humans) Very knowledgable about nutrition they have helped me with 2 geriatric, special needs cats by recommending healing diets as well as diets for young healthy pets to help keep them that way. The owner & groomer Mindy is one of the most caring people I know. Her groomers are gentle and talented & the bathers are kind. Regardless what brings us into the shop we never feel rushed, ignored or like an unimportant customer. The retail staff is always willing to help, knowledgable w/ great sense of humor. I being a pet care provider myself recommend BG&PS to all of my customers - and strangers. I love going into the store even just to say hello - it's always a pick me up after a day/week. Having tried other local shops we always return to BG&PS

My dogs always look so great when they come home. The staff are skilled, professional, friendly and they clearly care about dogs. My dogs don't even seem to mind coming to the Continental even though it is well-known that even though they love to swim, they generally hate baths!Thanks for everything!

i'm surprised to read anything negative about brookline grooming. the staff is friendly and helpful, the grooming is the best in the boston area, and the product selection is amazing. they specialize in raw diet foods and have more knowledge on the subject than any other store i have been to. they recommend natural, organic, and safe products. above all else, they love animals and can offer advice on all aspects of pet care. mindy is by far the best poodle groomer in new england, and is the local authority on all things grooming and dog related. don't listen to the other posts. this place is amazing.

Great little neightborhood store. I can't speak about the grooming services, but I've been buying cat food and litter here for a few months now. I've been very happy with their selection. They carry premium and natural food brands that aren't sold at Petco or the supermarket. If that's what you're looking for, and you're willing to pay the prices (because premium pet food ain't cheap, as I have learned, plus this is a small store so they probably can't mark down as much as a superchain), then you'll like this place. They occasionally run out of things, and the supplies (bowls, toys, etc) are a bit pricey. But overall, I love this store and I recommend it!

family environment, great place to take your pets, dogs, cats, ferrets or whatever, and a great place to go ask question about health and diet, even troubleshooting questions about products. Knowledgeable staff makes me feel comfortable even when I don't know what I'm talking about.

I love taking my dog here to get groomed-they always do a top-notch job, and I love the selection of animal goodies! Not to mention, the owner, Mindy, is awesome, and I love the rest of the staff as well. I can't recommend this place enough.

I can't comment about the doggie grooming as I go there to pick up supplies for the bunny that we take care of from time to time. They are always well stocked. Seeing Mikey, their friendly resident cat, is the highlight of my visitshere.

As far as the pet supplies selection goes, it's a great little store. They have cute pet carriers and a huge food selection. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the store cat Mikey was so sweet! I might try their grooming services for my two cats who need a bath so badly...

This place carries Before Grain cat food and the price is very reasonable for high quality food.
