General Info
Dr. Katharina Graw-Panzer is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine, she is the Director of the Pediatric Sleep and Breathing Disorders Center at WCM, the Director of the Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program at WCM and the Pulmonary Director of the Pediatric Aerodigestive Program and the Pediatric Technology Dependence/Home Ventilation Program. She is an assistant attending pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital, and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she is providing sleep consultations. Dr. Graw-Panzer is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology and in Sleep Medicine. She has extensive experience and interest in the evaluation and treatment of children with upper and lower airway dysfunction, with complex medical disorders, dependence on technology and sleep disorders.Dr. Graw-Panzer received her medical education at the University of Hamburg in Germany and completed her residency training in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Her recent research experience includes the effect of obstructive sleep apnea on learning and memory in children, the clinical manifestations of children with sickle cell disease and periodic limb movements in sleep as well as to examine the health care utilization in children with long-term tracheostomy tubes who live at home.She is Fluent in English and German.
