0 stars if possible. When this place first opened me and my girlfriend took her daughter's Toyota Avalon in for complete detailing. I had been driving the car to work everyday because I drive a duramax diesel pickup and wanted to save on fuel and her daughter didn't need the car at the time. I listened to the stereo everyday back and forth to work. I only played the front speakers because the back deck woofer rattled and needed replacement, the front sounded great (stock JBL system with midrange in the doors and tweeters in the dash). We were listening to the stereo when we took it in. When we picked up the car I dropped off my girlfriend and she drove it home. The next day I drove to work, the front speakers did not play. When I came home from work we called Vern's and they tried to get us to take the car to his friend's stereo shop in Glendale. I said no I will check it myself. Only problem is that the next day was Saturday and my girlfriend and her daughter were driving to Davis for her last year in college where the car would stay for the next year or so. A little more than a month ago the car came back to me and I purchased it from her. Well today I decided to check out what happened to the stereo. I do want to state the fact that I am 100% certified in all fields of automotive repair employed at a GM dealership in Los Angeles. I am 56 years old and have been repairing vehicles of all kinds for over 45 years. The first thing I checked, because it is the easiest part to get to, is the tweeters, the housing that holds them snaps right out of the dash. Upon tweeter removal I couldn't believe what I found. One of the wires was cut at the capacitor. On the other side not only is the wire cut but the capacitor is gone. I am so aggravated that I had to stop everything I was doing just to sit down and write this review. Tomorrow when I get home I will remove the door panel to see what Vern's did to the midrange speakers. I will post more! Stay away from this place -- they are thieves. I only wish I had checked out the problem right after we picked up the car so I could report them and possibly have them arrested for fraud. Unfortunately there's not much I can do now except to warn others of their trickery.
