These people are scam artists and take advantage of their customers.



They sold my father (who lives in an assisted living facility and has early stage dementia) a used Rolex for $14,000. He had it for less than a week and returned it, as that is something he cannot really afford. They refused to refund his money, instead they only would attempt to resell it for him on consignment.



Five and a half months pass, and they had not sold it. Clearly, an indication they overcharged him. We have collected it to try to sell it to a more reputable used jewelry dealer. To date, the highest offer we can find is $8,500. We are considering legal action against them.



My advice: STAY AWAY!

I took my Rolex to Gulf Coast for repair. They claimed to have a certified Rolex technician on staff. $850 later, I have now been back 4 times in one month to have the watch reparied correctly for it continues to lose time rapidly. Last time I was told to wind it; however, it is a self wind watch as it hs been for over 20 years. Today I return once again. I'm afraid their technician doesn't have a clue and may. in fact, not be a certified Rolex technician. "Watch" out.

Since Richard Fessel retired I would have to say, "do not go to this place!" The two women (Jeweler & Sales Attendant), that I spoke to in reference to repairing a ring of mine, were down right rude and condesending. No way to do business! Thumbs down.

They sold me a raw coin they say was in MS66+ condition.$400 later after NGC graded it an MS 64 I am out nearly $300. Stay away from these people or you might get scammed!!!

I was told $25.00 for a statement about a coin being authentic then after driving to Fort Myers was told by the owner- "it will be a lot more than $25.00 for me to put my name on a letterhead and waste my time if she plans on selling it to someone else". I guess the low fee was good only to sell it to them cheap. I have since found a nice company that will do the same thing for FREE as a community service. These people are jerks and will waste your time. I own a business and would NEVER treat someone the way I was treated. Coins sell for much more than the gold value o eBay and was told the price I quotes seeing them sell on eBay "was not right" well if you want to get ripped off go see the owner here! Also check out eBay for selling coins! One woman told me Gold prices- something many unethical people do- check out the Wall Street Journal cash price and you will see the difference. Oh and the owner was the guy with the ponytail as in another review which is CORRECT!! What a jerk!

I took some of my old jewelry and some gold coins to Gulfcoast Coin & Jewelry, after shopping around they were the absolute best as far as price and being so courteous it was a pleasure to deal with them. I would highly recommend anyone to go there if they have items to sell.

i dont know what happened with these other reviewers but i had a really good experience with them. they bought my gold jewelry for really good prices! and everyone there was really nice to me. theyre much better than those we buy gold places. i was verry happy with my experience there.

well i did business with them over the years,and let's just say Mike doesn't care about anyone. The bottom line is his gain in his pocket.Sad...... And i would never go in there again! MIKE J you can't take it with you,it all belongs to GOD.
