Since 1990 Gallery Sur has been known for contemporary fine art photographers whose unique perspectives are now synonymous with Carmel, Pebble Beach and the Big Sur coast. Their frequent travels beyond home also record a discerning eye for the power of color, composition and cultural life around the world. Gallery Sur represents the premiere Shona stone sculptors of Zimbabwe, collected world wide for their unique cultural and expressive power. In the hands of a small number of master carvers, using the beautiful serpentine stones from this mineral rich African county, their sculpture speaks to us of daily human relationships, as well as the underlying spiritual belief that all life lives together.
