S&ME has more than 700 employees in offices located in six states. S&ME s headquarters is in Raleigh, N.C., and its projects have ranged from parking lots to a National Football League stadium. Geotechnical services include site feasibility assessments and preliminary planning. Its field services included soil testing and monitoring as well as concrete and asphalt testing, engineering and monitoring. S&ME s environmental services include natural resources, storm water, asbestos and risk management. The company s occupational health and safety services include indoor air quality services. S&ME provided the geotechnical engineering for the Bonner Bridge replacement, designed to cross Oregon Inlet on North Carolina s Outer Banks.
