My labradoodle was out of control when I went to 4 Paws for help and after 4 training classes the change was not to be believed. Toby is 9 years old now and you couldn't ask for a better dog. I would trust my dog at 4 paws for anytime I needed my dog to be loved and cared for as if he was at home.

I have been associated with this group of wonderful people for over 15 years. They have trained me as well as 2 of my dogs, Joey and Lulu. The instructors are perceptive to problems as well as encouraging. Lisa Marie is such a professional and Caitlin, Diane and Peggy are the icing on the cake to a fabulous training staff. If you want the best for your dog, this is the place to send him!!! The staff is amazing and so caring. I can not tell you how excited my dog (Rambo) would get in the car every time he realized we were going to 4paws. He would practically push me out of the car because I was not moving fast enough for him. He went to daycare, boarding, and became quite the well trained puggle thanks to Lisa-Marie and Caitlin's classes. Wish we could have taken them with us when we moved. Rambo will definitely miss playing here, and we will miss having such a trusted and caring place to take our dog. Thank you to all the staff for treating my dog like your own!!!

We've had our dog Buddy Lee, attending Four Paws Inn for 7 years. He started at 6 months for obedience training, now day care and boarding since then. He goes to day care weekly to keep him acclamated to the Inn for boarding, but also be cause he loves it, which is the best review I can give! He's the first one in the car when we say 'day care'. We know he is well taken care during his stays. We have always felt secure leaving him at the Inn becasue we know they care about each dog. They are very attentive to each dogs needs, evidenced by helping us problem solve times when Buddy Lee needed extra attention for walking prior to bedtime, and needing a wire crate versus plastic because he'd rub his nose raw trying to look out. We can't imagine leaving our dog any where else!!

We have trained two dogs there. One now 12 and the other 2. Both are now Pet Therapy dogs and bring joy to us and lots of other people. I always recommend Canine Training Unlimited for people looking to train their dogs. They are the best!

Love Four Paws! It's nice to know that my dogs aren't locked in a cage while I'm away, like many other boarding facilities. And their training is fantastic as well!

My dogs have gone to Four Paws Inn and Canine Training Unlimited for nearly ten years. Last year, Caitlin helped us with our newly rescued shepherd mix, when she began to show severe territorial aggression. She guided us step by step, to the point that we are now comfortable inviting friends, family and the occasional handyman/repairman into our home without worrying about the dog. Newer boarding and training opportunities have opened up closer to home (Norfolk's Ghent), but I still drive to Chesapeake because of the expert love and care our dogs receive from the staff!.
