My wife and I are brand new to Chicago, and I was relocated here by my employer. We ended up having to lease an apartment without ever actually seeing it (just through pictures). The nearly four flights of "fire-escape" style stairs that we had to use to move into this apartment were MUCH more of a challenge than I anticipated.

I highly recommend Aaron's Reliable. I have moved several times due to my job situation,so I have had a lot of experiences with movers. A couple have been nightmares, like I've fired one moving crew while the move was in progress. I came to Chicago with a load from LA. This company was referred by a business partner. All I can say is that I took the time to write this review because they were awesome! I'm a guy that doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and I'm a guy that likes to take control of a situation. I didn't' have to do either with this company. They took care of everything to where I was in all honesty....relaxed during my move. Hopefully I won't be moving any time soon,but if I do, I'm using these guys.

I called on a Wednesday and they were able to squeeze me in for a move that Friday. I felt like they were very up front about costs. When I scheduled my move the lady I spoke with reviewed my estimate with me twice to ensure that I understood; then at the start of my move Ron reviewed it with me again, which I thought was very professional and honest.

Everyone was completely professional, friendly, thorough, and a real pleasure to work with! Thank you for having such a great crew, five stars!

My move went very smoothly and I have no complaints. I have used two other Chicago movers in the past year and would recommend Aaron's without hesitation. I was a "military spouse" so I have definitely had my fair share of experience with moving companies, and this one was top-notch.

The movers are extremely careful with all your things. They take time to wrap all wood, glass, and mirrors with the padding. I have never had anything broken, scratched or dented. They even follow all landlord rules no matter how crazy (like wrapping all the banisters in padding). If you have some odd shaped items that you can't find a box for then they will make you a box. Walter is like a freakin' MacGyver!

I think it's worth mentioning that a lot of these movers have been with the company for a long time. Personally, I think that says something for the quality of service and the company. If you're unsure then ask for specific movers when you call. They can't guarantee them but they will definitely try. A few of the names that have stood out from all my moves are Walter, Manny, and Edwin. I honestly wish I could remember the other guys names because they did great too.

Being a professional artist for over two decades now, and using various companies for delivering my art and installing, I've always found myself completely paranoid and worried about potential damage during the move. I have finally found a moving firm I can trust with Aaron's Reliable. The services are beyond satisfactory from the first time I used them to the last which was two weeks ago. I've always considered myself a physically fit hands-on guy. One of my first jobs was for a moving company. I honestly have a new gained respect for how professional and efficient the men of Aaron's Reliable are. I recently hired Aaron's Reliable to move my office in Downtown Chicago to Evanston IL. The men were on time, very efficient, and easy to work with. They finished my job an hour earlier than I was originally quoted which made me very happy. I was very satisfied with their work and would certainly hire them again.

I used Aaron's Reliable when I was in a bind to get some very expensive artwork packed and shipped for a client. I called around to a couple of "art & antique" moving companies which were either too pricey or unavailable with such short notice. I was then referred to Aaron's by another company. I received prompt, personal care from my initial phone call to my follow-up call. The pieces were delivered on time, in perfect condition and my client was so pleased,she hired them to do a move and called to tell me they did a great job. They're awesome.
