I have been to other rinks in the city where they have Qualified Instructors. I found the Adult Lessons presented have been the best I've ever seen (not that I've been all over). There are problems with the floor but there are bonnified specialist who excellent communication skills. Check the Adult Lessions and Sessions and judge for yourself.

I've been to the rink a number of times and the best thing about the place is the circus like atmosphere there are many skaters there that truly roll with a passion for the sport as well as many that are willing to teach you some of their tricks. While not a technical arena a very good free style joint with plenty of spins, leaps, big wheels, crazy legs, splits and moves tht I can't label. The sessions were split by age groups, the adult session over 30 was a smooth yet moving adventure while the 25 to 30 yr old set was a fast paced extravaganza (the young people rocked the house) that was almost as much fun to watch as to skate.

If there is a negative aspect it would be the condition of the skate floor and the lack of maintenance. the floor is filled with peaks, valleys and just lumps, the lighting is kept dim at all times to the point of being so dark that the sunlight hurts your eyes when you exit, air conditioning is kept at the absolute minimun.
