I've been going to Mary Kay for about 6 months now & feel so lucky to have found someone who I know can perform electrolysis properly. I bounced around with others within the local area for about 2-3 months that claim to be very experienced in electrolysis, only to have prolonged redness & inflammation that would last days after treatment, as well as darkening & even thicker hair growing in the treated area (upper lip). At first, I wasn't sure if this was to be expected, since I've never been treated before and have very sensitive skin. Though after leaving them and starting my first treatment with Mary Kay, I immediately noticed a HUGE difference. With Mary, I don't feel like my hair is being ripped out. My skin is now much smoother and the darkening left from my previous treatment with others went away. Mary Kay is a diamond in the rough in this area... I strongly recommend going to her, and not risking improper treatment and potential long term damage from others!
