Covenant changed ownership recently to Dr. Wilson who's been making a whole host of improvements. I've been going to covenant since they were in goodlettesville in 2003 but am more confident than ever in my care now

Hit or Miss. The walk-in practice is definitely a complete miss. I've been there enough times and had dingbat diagnoses for the simplest of illnesses. The problem is they have UNSUPERVISED PAs and NPs making and treating the diagnoses. Those types of medical workers are SUPPOSED to be SUPERVISED, but Covenant Care falls short in that respect. As far as the doctors there, I've had a pretty good experience. Problem is you can never see them unless you schedule an appointment at least two weeks in advance. Well, I need to see them when I have a sinus infection right now, but I have to walk-in and see their incompetent PAs and NPs who will either misdiagnose, or fail to properly treat my simple illness... Think I'm gonna start going to Walgreen's for that stuff... Seriously! OH, and don't get me started on their receptionists or billing staff! Receptionists are complete snobs, and just pray you never have any billing issues because they are the most condescending people in the

They are slow to respond to any and all requests including refills of maintenance prescriptions. They will send you for expensive and invasive procedures before trying the basic stuff. Worst of all they can't handle insurance. I fought with them for over a year about $130.00 that my insurance wanted to pay, but they would never send the insurance company simple information they requested after several attempts by the insurance company and myself. Now they have turned it over for collection. I'll pay it with a BIG MIDDLE FINGER and good riddance.

Covenant Family Practice has been my doctors office, and my family's for years. I admit there was some frustrations at first with wait times, and staff. One day while being upset about waiting 5 minutes more then I thought I should have. I then realized this is due to the doctors taking care of other people! What a shock?! I had my "aha" moment a few months ago when I was waiting in a room to be seen, and opened my door thinking that I was forgot about, when I saw a nurse comforting a middle aged women, my Doctor conveying information to a paramedic that was picking up the relative of the woman being comforted by his co-worker, while his nurse was making sure that the patient's history was received by the other paramedic. In that moment I realized, my wait meant someone's life was being saved. We all need to realize we don't always know the reasons behind waiting, and these people are saving lives, as well as taking care of others. I then saw a small glimpse into the possibilities for waiting a few hours to get a call back, a medication printed, or a few extra minutes to be seen. This is an amazing practice, they have had a few major changes in the last year that I have seen, the staff they have now (at the hwy 76 location) is amazing, and they always try their best to help me and my entire family when we need it. Papers to fill out, prescriptions to sign, calls to make, emergencies that arise, they do see walk ins, each nurse and doctor are a team and for their patients these 2 do it all, and we don't even know the half of it I'm sure. Kudos to you covenant, you will always be my medical home. For those of you with issues , maybe your eyes will be opened one day, and I pray it is not you or your family member that has an emergency, and your not here, your impatience else where could cost you your life. Think about your job before you judge how someone else does theirs, these people are working, and YOU ARE NOT THEIR ONLY PATIENT!

Not thorough at all. Not good with scheduling or following up with patient. I've had to make several calls and no call back.

I've been going to covenant care for about 4 years now and have always had a pleasant experience until lately. I've been trying to make an appointment for a week now. Each person I would talk to on the phone was extremely rude and short with me. I finally got an appointment for 8am one morning and was late. They put me down as a no show, which I understood. What i dont understand is being treated like trash while I'm sick. The two receptionist belittled me to the point where i was almost in tears. I opted to wait and be put down as a walk in. Which was fine with me. Seeing as i was the only person in the waiting room. I didnt think it would be any trouble I sat there for 50 minutes before another patient even came in. While sitting there I had to listen to the two receptionist talk about being hungover, and how her boyfriend was rubbing her while she was in the bed drunk. Which I found very inappropriate for a doctors office. I walked out due to the fact that I had a fever of 102 and could barely hold my head up and didnt feel like being treated like a complete trash. I left and went to a urgent care and was in and out within 45 minutes. Needless to say I'm not happy with covenant care since they have changed locations and changed nurses and receptionist. I think they need a lesson on how to treat people, and not make them feel like a total inconvience. I will not go back there. And I will tell everyone I know about my bad experience. Because this experience has nothing on the visit I had at the Wilma Rudolph location 2 months ago. Extremely displeased and confused on how this place considers its self a doctors office for "healing minds, body, and souls" what a joke.
