General Info: Our most recent InspirARTE event took place at the South Carolina State Museum, in Columbia, on October 21, 2004. InspirARTE seeks to inform the public about the beauty and diversity of Latin American art, while supporting an organization that provides critical services to the Hispanic community. The soaring numbers of Latinos flocking to the region in the last few years have strained the resources of Acercamiento Hispano. These resources are vital to provide the social support system the community needs, including health, legal assistance, domestic violence support, employment and training services.
