All around great place with super friendly and caring staff. My dogs have stayed with them numerous time. every time we go back the dogs are always very excited to be back - that's how I know they are being treated well!

Our dogs have been staying at Irmo Pet Retreat for years and we love it! Kay (the owner) loves animals and it shows! I would not leave my dogs anywhere else. We are so thankful for Irmo Pet Retreat. By the way, her prices are very reasonable too!

Irmo Pet Retreat is OUTSTANDING! The building is very clean and the staff is extremely caring. I can leave my dogs there knowing they will be cared and loved while I am away. They treat my furry babies like they are their own. My dogs look forward to staying there. I know of several different boarding kennels in the area which are all very nice but nothing compares to Irmo Pet Retreat. They rank above all of the rest. I will never board my dogs anywhere else! If you have not boarded with them you should...you will be so happy you did!

Omg, I'm laughing so hard!!! My dog didn't want to leave"!!!!!! She played so hard & had so much fun at Irmo Pet Retreat that I can't say the name "Kay" around her cause she goes nuts!!! My husband & I have never seen anything like this. Guess we'll be taking our pup to the doggie daycare a lot more often & Yippy! for us; we get to go out to lunch a lot more too. <3<3<3

We love Irmo Pet Retreat! Our 2 dogs absolutely love going to stay there. The staff is wonderful - you can tell they really love what they do! We are always invited to go back and get our dogs situated, but there is no need - both our dogs run in with tails wagging - ready to go play. It is always very clean, does not smell, and the kennels are very nice. We can't say enough good things about the facility and staff! We never worry about our dogs when they stay there.

What ever you do, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH IRMO PET RETREAT. They are extremely unorganized and aggressive staff with a owner who knows nothing about customer services, when you need to kennel your dogs you want them in a safe place with nice caring people. We purchased $75 on a groupon deal with irmo pet retreat, when it was time to leave our animals we went to go drop them off and of course look at the facility. The wonderful owner (sarcastic) was very mean and would not let us look at were our four legged family members would be staying. I would not trust them to look after a piece of wood. They did not want to be any assistance to us and extremely rude (under statement). We had to find a different kennel at the last second. They do not pick up the phone or treat a paying customer with any respect. The owner should need to be a bill collector with her attitude and her mouth. What ever you do DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! We had to take our animals to Carolina Pet Resort where we know our animals will be treated well and will respect us as a paying customer.
