On 20 March 2020 I spoke with the owner and manager via cell phone at this location and he informed me that his technician broke the cable shift on my 2008 F150 while replacing my transmission for the second time. He stated since they drove to the Ford dealer on Rivertown Road and got a replacement and installed the new cable shift then I should accommodate Big T by pay $37.00 for the replacement.

I informed the owner and manager that I am his customer and that I do not have to accommodate that request. He then sated to me "Do me a favor when you pick up your truck do not bring it back to my location for future service." I then informed him that that was fine but I needed the information with regards to the transmission warranty just in case anything happens with that transmission while it is still under warranty.

I went to the location to pick up my vehicle and went into the office to pay for cost of service. I informed the owner and manager that he was wrong to expect me to pay for a part that his technician had broke and he immediately replied he had not charged me for it and he had nothing else to say to me.

I then informed the owner and manager that he was in my opinion exhibiting racist behavior and that he may not be used to other black people speaking up about something they feel is unfair but has a black man I am going to speak up when some one is trying to get over on me because of a mistake his tech made.

I paid for the service rendered and then went outside to start my vehicle to leave the location only to find out my vehicle would not start. I spoke with Raymond who I think is the assistant manager and informed him what happened. He had two technicians come over and one tried to jump start the vehicle and the one technician realized there was nothing wrong with the battery. The other technician then got on the ground and looked at the starter and realized the starter was put in crooked and that was what was causing the problem.

They pulled it back to the garage and 15 minutes later I left with my truck running fine but my confidence shaken in the technician who had overlooked the starter situation while putting in the transmission and conducting a road test before parking my vehicle,

I then called the number given to me by the owner and manager to speak with the company about the transmission warranty with regards to the fact that the owner and manager where I brought the transmission did not wan to service me anymore and the phone number does not even work.

I will file a formal complaint with BBB and corporate headquarters with regards to this owner and manager at this location.
