I was getting a quote for a surety bond and was told there was a $100.00 minimum because I wanted only $1.000 dollars worth of coverage. The cost of a surety bond is typically one to three precent of the bond.Look it up!! So if I have to pay $100.00, may as well get a larger Bond for the same money. I have excellent credit. My scores range between 825 or 840, depending on what bank runs the credit rating. I should spend the same $10.00 dollars for a $ 10.000 dollar bond at one percent equaling $100.00 dollars or even a $5.000 bond at two percent equaling $100.00 dollars. I sugessted this to bob and he told me that I had taken up too much of his time and he also said, " Thats not how it works." He hung up the phone on me. He didn't bother to explain how it works. Again his resolve was " Go somewhere else."
