Really close to the house.
So one weekend,I joined them. I really enjoyed it,alot.We had great time,although they had an earlier start. They had some other friends there..
Atmosphere,music,drinks,and of course,the alcohol..
I don't live in the city anymore,I have lived in the country for,27 years.I will never live in any city,but I was born and raised in c.c.tx.
It's a nice place to visit.:-)

My wife and I are from Leakey and we came to Corpus Christi for vacation. We heard Politics was a good bar so we went on Friday the 22nd of March. There was a live band playing but the bar was not busy. We are assuming the bartenders are entry level. We did not receive help for 20 minutes from any of the 3 or 4 bartenders ( I do not remember how many exactly) As my wife and I were leaving the waitress (I assumed she heard us chatting) approached us and introduced herself and asked us if everything was okay and if we ever got served drinks. We told her no and were considering leaving. She told us if we stuck around she would get our drinks quickly and buy our first round. We took her up on the offer, sure enough, our drinks arrived in less than two minutes! Being as sweet of a girl as she was, continued to help us for the rest of the night. She was the only waitress tonight she said in conversation. It shocked me and my wife how quickly that tiny girl could move! Anyways we ended up staying late and enjoyed our night and the band. We left happy and my wallet empty with a large gratuity to the waitress. I wish we remembered her name. On our next vacation we will be coming back to Politics for a good time.

I frequently go to Politics because it is in a great location. I hate to admit it but I'm there every weekend. They have live music every Friday night; with great band selections if I might add. There is a very cool, brand new bar on a very put-together patio. The bartender outside is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, and the bartenders, although usually busy, are very kind and professional too. I never get served a drink without a smile too. Politics is the place to be! Oh, it's VERY clean too. It doesn't smell sour like most bars in town.

A bar for the rest of us! Thanks for making Politics the place to go for...

classic rock, country, and modern music (live on Friday nights),

pool, darts, and games and UFC on the big screen,

a big patio with a full bar,

a clean and relaxed atmosphere,

and the best place to party on the south side!

I decided to try out Politics last weekend- it was waste of my time! I waited 40 minutes for one of the FOUR bartenders to aknowledge me and all I wanted was a beer!! With four bartenders I thought I would recieve faster service or even a friendly aknowledgement but I did not! I was not the only one complaining either. They also had TERRIBLE attitudes! I tried going through a waitress instead. She apologized for the wait and she would get my beverage for me but the bartenders were busy. I dont see how if there is FOUR. She got me my drink, 15 minutes later. They wouldn't aknowledge her either, I know this because I stood there with her wanting my drink. My only pleasnt experience here was the waitress. She was very sweet and sincerely felt bad about the timing on my beer. Everything else was CRAP. Would not recommend.
